Notary signing agent, and NSA, are newer terms in the notary industry. In the insurance industry the business classification is still notary, notary public, or notaries public. Because of that, there is no separate policy called notary signing agent E&O insurance.
The main question is this: are your services usual, customary and reasonable for a notary? If the answer is yes, you have two options.
- An individual notary can buy E&O insurance online.
- A notary with employees or independent contractors can request a signing agency quote.
